PDR Indy Pro Series driver AJ Russell, who drove the first race of the season at the Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2007 for PDR, capped off an exciting week for PDR by winning the ISMA East vs. West Coast Shoot-out in Concord, NC.

“This is was a huge race for me,” says AJ Russell. “I put so much effort into running this race, and I think I proved a lot about myself and what I’m capable of in a race car.”

The shoot-out pits the east and west coast’s elite supermodified drivers against each other for one weekend of great oval racing.

“I had to race a lot of talented drivers, and I didn’t have a lot of seat time to prepare,” Russell says. “I’m really proud of what I did in North Carolina, and hopefully I can take this momentum into 2008.”
